We have been lucky enough to have lovely reviews from visitors and the press alike.
The Guardian loved our “rural idyll” and named us one of its five “cool holiday cottages in North Cornwall” (November 2013).
Beautiful, wild spot, but so close to Padstow, Rock, Polzeath and Tintagel – a great location and the perfect antidote to city life. Lovely cottage, very well equipped and comfortable.

We’ve loved our week in Little Trentinney and are very reluctant to leave. It’s a charming cottage in such a wonderful location. Very, very comfortable accommodation – we are definitely coming again! The cows are the most photographed in the country… We have completely recharged our batteries, and are very reluctant to leave.

The perfect holiday home that feels like home. We really appreciated the quality of everything – towels, bedding, furnishings, finish of the property – but most of all that special phone call to check that all was well. A very personal touch which made all the difference. No amount of rain or cloud spoilt the wonderfully relaxed atmosphere of the house and garden. It cannot be faulted! Very special.
Suffolk, 2013
We have had a great week communing with nature in the countryside and at the beach… Of course the star of the show was the house itself – a haven we were sometimes reluctant to leave.
Essex, 2012
What a beautiful cottage! Our six- and seven-year old children found plenty to do in the garden whilst we relaxed in the sun. The decor inside the cottage was just perfect. There was everything we needed to hand, with really well thought out information on local amenities. We will definitely be back many more times in the future.
Somerset, 2012
Another excellent holiday at Little Trentinney – idyllic location, comfortable and stylish house, and delightful garden. A splendid evocation of England.
Essex, 2013
Lovely secluded place – great for running along the quiet lanes early in the morning! Great base for all our favourite Cornish delights.
Cheshire, 2012
Thank you so much for a wonderful week. It has been heaven! The cottage is perfect and we are already dreaming about our next visit. It is insanely beautiful.
Devon, 2013
What a beautiful secluded spot to spend a week enjoying each other’s company and the wonderful North Cornish coast – you really don’t have to travel far to fill your days. A really wonderful stay in a very beautiful part of the world.
London, 2012
The seven of us have had an excellent holiday here. Really appreciated the obvious – view, comfort etc – but also the excellent quality bedding, towels and showers. Highlights: Lying in bed in the brilliant Booley early in the morning and looking at the view… A huge family BBQ outside, and a riotous evening of game playing… Hanging out washing between the trees on a bright and breezy day.
Lancashire, 2013
The cottage is a lovely, peaceful retreat – everything we needed. Plenty to entertain a family of four… Too short a stay.
Gloucestershire, 2011
We were so happy here – the peace and the surroundings pleased us immensely. The cottage helped us to feel a little Cornish and to live ‘Cornishly’.
Austria, 2013
What a fantastic time we have had! Such a beautiful house and garden, and so well equipped. We have felt so at home here.
Buckinghamshire, 2011
Our first time in Cornwall, and it won’t be the last. Such a beautiful cottage in a lovely area – we enjoyed the beautiful garden. We will certainly be back again!
London, 2012
The cottage is in a great location, so quiet but not far to any destination. Great time had here by all!
Kent, 2011
Loved the peace and tranquillity of the cottage.
Bedfordshire, 2012
Had a lovely week here over Easter – we have loved the views. House very comfortable and would love to come again in the summer to make use of the garden.
London, 2013
We have had a fantastic stay here – it has been so peaceful and the cottage has been beautifully done. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay on a bit longer!
Nottingham, 2011
I liked waking up to the cows in the morning!
